Second phase of Rajasthan Zila Parishad election has completed today, January 29, 2010. Rural Rajasthan have voted to elect 337 candidates for Zila Parishad and more than one thousand candidates for Panchayat Samiti in 30 districts of Rajasthan.

Third and final phase of Panchayat election will be on January 31. Result of the election will be declared on February 8, 2010.

Both Congress and BJP have deployed their full force to win the election. Ashok Gehlot, Vausndhara Raje, CP Joshi, Pramod Bhaya, Arun Chaturvedi and other noted leaders of both the parties are campaigning in favor of candidates of respective parties.
