Rajasthan is all set for Panchayat election. Both Congress and BJP are ready to take each other hand to hand in this election.
Few candidates have filed nomination today on January 8, 2010 for coming Panchayat election.
Report has come that noimination are filed in Mahua and Sikray in Dausa district, Udaipur bati in Jhunjhunu district, Ajmer, Udaipur etc of Rajasthan.
Tomorrow, January 9, 2010 is the last date for filing nomination. Most of the candidates of both the major parties Congress and BJP have not yet filed their nominations. It is expected that they will file nomination tomorrow January 9, on the last date.
Both the parties in Rajasthan have almost finalized their process of selecting candidates. There are some disputes in both the parties which will be sorted out soon according to spokes persons of both BJP and Congress.
Price rise in food grain especially of sugar is major cause of concern in this Panchayat election. This can adversely affect chances of the ruling party Congress. BJP will try to gain advantage of the situation who have been defeated badly in Urban local bodies election.
